Week 100: CELEBRATE

So who guessed today's cue word first?!  After looking over all the comments, we believe Lindsey clearly stated the correct answer first!  We also think those of you who offered guesses sure had some great suggestions and we may just be using some of them in the future, so stay tuned!

It's truly a time to celebrate here at CASology!  This week, we're celebrating not only 100 challenges, but all the wonderful friendships we've found during the last 99!  We'd love to hear your suggestions for future cue words and, if we select one you suggest, you'll get to be a guest designer for us for the challenge that uses your cue word!  So start brainstorming and let us know (by commenting below) what you think would be a great cue word for a future challenge here at CASology!

We have a brand new sponsor joining us this week as we celebrate good times!

Endless Creations, LLC & Everyday Cards is a small artistic rubber stamp manufacture company.  We have been in business for approximately 15 years!  Our daughter, Karissa, owns Endless Creations, LLC and my husband Kevin and I own Everyday Cards.  Karissa has a B.S. degree in Graphic Design and she draws the majority of our stamps.  She has been doodling and drawing since age 12 and she still doodles and draws!  We have a very simple line that is good for cards that we need everyday!  Hence the name of our company!   Kevin and I do all the manufacturing and we attend retail rubber stamp and scrapbooking shows where I teach and we sell our stamps.  We try to design and make stamps that are useful on cards often sent.  So you will find lots of birthday, sympathy, thinking of you, and Christmas stamps.  We have a high quality rubber with a deep etch for good impressions.  We hope you enjoy and use our stamps!  Our goal is not to have stamps just sitting in people's cupboards, but stamps that they get out and use because they need to send cards to their friends and family!  We hope you find this so!
Beth

They are offering a $25 gift certificate to the store, so be sure to go take a look at all the different images they offer in their store and don't forget to stop by and say hello on their blog!

Now let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer created to inspire you during this celebration!

Guest Designer:  !neke
design defined:
Bold colors can work on a CAS design.

Ardyth
design defined:
Use simple shapes and colours to create a fun pattern but don't forget the white space!

Gillian
design defined:
Gold embossing powder can add a bit of WOW to a CAS card.

 Jen
design defined:
A bold coloured sentiment really pops off of a CAS card.
design defined:
A CAS card can be fun.

Judy
design defined:
Get inspiration from everyday sources...like blog headers!

Kimberly
design defined:
You can use fun designer papers, just ensure to balance the design with "clean" space.
I also used the rule of three with the embellishments.

May
design defined:
Use small images to create a background.

 Meghan
design defined:
Make sure to ground your images on a clean and simple card.

Melissa
design defined:
Pop up a piece of your background to add dimension.

Tracey
design defined:
Offsetting images and sentiment creates balance and allows for more white space.

Now go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CDT)!
