Week 97: BEE


CASology is buzzing right along this week as we begin a new cue word challenge!  We hope you'll join in the fun bee-cause we love seeing how you interpret the cue words each week!  Isn't it interesting how many different ways a word can inspire a design?

The design team and this week's guest designer have been busy as bees creating inspiration for you again, so let's take a look and see how the cue word inspired each one of them!

Guest Designer:  Deepti

Focusing on colors and proportions of the object, then recreating it, adds a lot of fun and interest to your design.


Meghan

Shaped cards can be clean and simple.  Be sure to include plenty of white space!


Melissa
design defined:
White on white keeps the use of layers clean & simple.

design defined:  
Leave breathing room between your focal image and the sentiment so that you do not crowd your CAS design.

Keep blocks of colour big so your card feels clean.

White space doesn't have to be white.

Use colored ink for your sentiment to add interest without bulk.

Cluster your stamping on a small raised panel.

Glitter and dry embossing can add interest to a simple, clean card.

Offsetting the main image can add interest to a CAS card.

Stenciling using embossing paste can be CAS.
